Abortion

Abortion is a very controversial subject. It seems that people lean to one extreme or another on this particular topic. There are not many who are inbetween when it comes to abortion. I feel very strongly against abortion and have very little tolerance for it. When it comes down to it, you are killing a human being. Whether it's a 3 month old unborn fetus or a 60 year old retired man, a human being is a human being. I find it very unethical to take the life of an unborn fetus just to make someone's life a little easier with fewer worries. Going through the process of abortion is very harmful to the woman's body and it is a very unpleasant experience. It involves going in and physically harming the fetus to the point of death and ending a human's life. Sacrificing a fetus's life to make the mother's life more "carefree" seems extremely unfair.

As I told Bryan, this has become an extremely qualified argument, as you point out, so make sure you outline your side of the argument well, with solid evidence--not all opinion. It will be interesting to see where you two 'move' this argument.
